Nine Months of Marriage

We did it! My husband and I survived the first nine months of marriage! 😉

I haven’t had much time to blog lately, so I figured I’d take a little time today to share with everyone what has been happening the last nine months.

In February my husband and I found out we are expecting our second child, due in October! We are so excited, and beyond grateful we get to give our son a baby brother or sister. This weekend we will reveal the gender of our little one at a gender reveal party. The anticipation is killing me! With this pregnancy though, I have been struggling with hypermesis gravidarum which is a severe form of morning sickness that lasts all day and has caused me many problems. This condition has also put a damper on my ability to blog, and work on my social media pages. Luckily, I have been feeling slightly better and am on medication to help control my HG. So back to school work and blogging I go!

Besides finding out I’m pregnant, my husband and I sold the house we have lived in for the last four years and are on our way to buying our dream home! We are set to close mid-June. I’m so excited to remodel and create the baby nursery I have always dreamed of. I am also trying to talk my husband into building an office off our master bedroom so I can blog away, and run my wedding planning business from home. I need to work on my persuasion skills! 😉

Next month, I also get the pleasure of being called an Aunt for the first time! My brother and his girlfriend will be welcoming their baby girl just one short month away on June 17th.

It’s safe to say the last nine months have been a whirlwind, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. Nine months of marriage down, and hundreds more to go!
